After finishing four strokes ahead of Nova Southeastern on the final day of the national championships, Lynn was able to end the Sharks' reign and take the NCAA title.

Bridgett Soares never played lacrosse until she tried out for LIU Post. Now the recent graduate is ready for her next big challenge -- and it's not the DII semifinals. Her next stop is the Marine Corps.

The No. 9 spot in the lineup was clutch Saturday. Trailing 2-0 in the fifth, Texas-Tyler had runners on second and third with one out and needed a big play. Pinch hitter Whitney Burt made that happen.
