The calendar may have just turned to Fall, but thanks to some schools across the country, we can all start dreaming of mid-February with the release of some 2010 schedules. Already out are a couple of the big ones, including the two participants in last season's CWS Finals: Texas and LSU. Rice, Cal State Fullerton and Florida State are three more that have come out.

So what's that do for us in late September? It allows us to start dreaming up those juicy non-conference weekends in February and March. And those all-too-important conference weekends later in the year. Here's a look at some of the already-released 2010 schedules.

Hello everybody and welcome to our new D-I Baseball Blog. We are now three months from the last pitch thrown in college baseball during the 2009 season, which ended of course in LSU's three game series victory over Texas in Omaha.

As fall ball winds near, check back with us throughout the offseason for news and notes from around the country, and a feature here and there that intrigues us. Once the season starts, we'll have blog posts throughout the week, letting you know what games/series to watch, while also keeping you informed of the results from the past week.
