Washington pulled off the 3-2 victory over Florida this evening to claim its first NCAA softball championship title in the WCWS championship series.

Picture 138.jpgDanielle Lawrie was named WCWS Most Outstanding Player. The pitcher surrendered two runs, one earned run, eight hits, three walks and recorded eight strikeouts.

Leave in OKC and picked Washington from day one. Great team and the NW area should be extremely proud. Hope their time in OKC besides the game was enjoyable as well. Hats off to Danielle. What a player!!!

The dyed hair, tattoos and nose piercings are not the example that a player of the year should have as a role model for todays youth
