Well, this past weekend was definitely a rough one and Texas is still my least favorite trip!! We left Thursday morning and played Southwestern on Friday and Trinity on Sunday. I do not know what was wrong with us this weekend but we could not throw the basketball in the ocean if our lives depended on it. We shot horribly as a team. Despite the poor shooting, we were able to pull off a win at Southwestern but Trinity got the better of us. We got home early Monday morning with one win, one loss, and I got the bonus prize of a black eye. (Some people tell me that basketball is not a contact sport, HA, they have obviously never actually played the sport then!!) The weekend did not end up like we were hoping that it would, but that is now the past and we have to look towards the future.

Two big games this weekend, Friday we are playing Colorado College and then we have Austin College on Sunday. Our assistant coach from last year is now the head coach at Colorado, so we are all looking forward to seeing her!! We love you Liz!! So this weekend should be fun.

School is still killing me. One of the best parts and yet one of the worst parts about going on trips is that we have to miss class. It is great because who does not want to miss class, but it sucks because you have to make sure you stay up on your work. I, unfortunately, decided to not take any of my books on this trip and now I am playing catch up. It is not horrible, I am almost all the way caught up, but it still adds stress to the pot.
