Hello again!

When I wrote my last post, I hoped the next time I would write would be warmer...and it finally is! This past weekend we had highs of close to 70 and nothing but sunshine...it was a wonderful way to open up the regular season.

Since my last post, we have played 7 games, won 6, spent a week in San Antonio, TX, and spent a wonderful day at Sea World. Things are going well.

We are coming along as a team, starting to learn each other on and off the field. The freshmen are doing well and I think that Spring Break has done a lot for our team dynamic. We are a team that prides ourselves on our relationship as a team and supporting one another. I really feel like we are  getting closer and closer.

We played 5 games over the break and worked really hard everyday at practice. It showed this weekend when we opened up the Liberty League and won both games. Everyone was upbeat and excited about how well we played together. It is a great feeling to walk off the field with everyone's spirits high and excitement for the next games.

As school gets back in session, spring will fly by. It will be a tough week of practice ahead to prepare for next weekend's games, but the team looks forward to the challenges Coach will present us with. I am very excited to get this season underway! Bring it on, Regular Season!
