Hello everyone and welcome to the Cortland State Men's Lacrosse Blog.  First let me start by telling you a little about myself.  My name is Frank Padolecchia and I am currently a sophomore majoring in Physical Education.  I hope to go back to my home on Long Island, teach Phys. Ed., and coach lacrosse.  This will be my second year on the team playing midfield for the Red Dragons.  Last year was an unbelievable journey and season that I will never forget.  As for this year nothing changes, we're hitting the ground running and trying to get back there again.  We have an awesome coaching staff with our Head Coach Steve Beville, Asst. Coach Mike Abbott, Asst. Coach Matt O'Connell, and Asst. Coach Josh Cittadino.  We also have another member of our team, Julie our athletic trainer. She completes us.

This past Monday we had our first scrimmage, which was nice because it gets a little old going against your own team everyday in practice.  We played Mercyhurst in the Binghamton sports complex; it's the largest bubble in the nation.  I thought it went very well for our first scrimmage and we looked very good.  We have another scrimmage this Saturday against Lemoyne that we are all pretty pumped for.  I will be writing every Sunday so I can wrap up the week after playing games on Wednesday and Saturday.  I look forward to a great season with all of you.
