On Wednesday we beat Oswego 25-3 in the SUNYAC Semi-Final game. We then went on to play Geneseo State on Saturday. Since we had lost to them earlier in the season, we were away at their place. Most of the game we had a nice four or five goal cushion but towards the end it got a little closer than we would have liked. Most important we got the win 14-13. At the end of the day we got our revenge from the regular season and went home SUNYAC Champions. Phase II of our journey is complete.
That night, after a big win, we had our senior banquette with food from The Dinosaur BBQ. For those of you who don't know about Dino Barb, it's serious. The food was awesome as usual and a big thanks to all of the people who put such a nice event together. We applauded all of our seniors when Mr. Dutkowski did a fantastic job of calling them up one by one to be recognized. Over the past two years that I have been here it was great getting to know these guys both on and off the field. We are going to miss them very much next year. Well enough about losing our seniors, we still have a lot of road to travel with them and today starts something new. Phase III, the NCAA's. We will see the winner of Springfield and Mt. Ida on Saturday. See you all on Game day.
