20080911_6198LS (Moriah Frazee) hs web.jpgHello again from Moriah. This week, we did not have a game until tonight's contest at Gardner-Webb.  So, we spent the week continuing to work on different things, both individually and as a team, so we can keep moving forward.  Tonight's game started our second half of conference play, so we know that teams are really going to be fighting hard. Conference games are starting to wind down, and soon tournament play will be upon us!

We enjoyed absolutely beautiful weather, the past couple of days at Gardner Webb. It was so nice to be able to walk around in shorts and a T-shirt, without having to wear a jacket or coat.

Once again, I am writing this blog entry on the bus, because it seems to be the best time for me to write.  Right now it is 11:30 p.m., so it's not quite as late as last time I wrote a blog. We should pull into Lynchburg around 2 a.m. , but hopefully a little bit sooner than that.

Tonight, we played at Gardner-Webb, which is the second time we have played them this season.  It was a pretty rough game, but everyone stuck together and we came out on top with a victory! To God be the glory! We ended up winning by seven points, 58-51.

We are now 9-0 in our conference, and our team keeps getting better and better as the season goes on. Our next game is not until next Monday, so we have tomorrow (Tuesday) off, as well as Friday.  It is so nice to have two off days in one week, as it gives our bodies a little bit of extra rest.

In terms of school, I just took my first nursing test of the semester and it went really well. Now, my sister and I are starting to study for a Pharmacology test coming up next week. We like to study way ahead, so we feel prepared for what is coming up.  This semester is a little bit lighter than last semester in terms of the classroom, because I am only taking two classes on campus and then two classes through DLP (Distance Learning Program).  It has been nice to only have to attend class two days a week. Of course, I still have clinical every Friday.  This Friday is my last clinical on Oncology (cancer).  The next time I write, I will be on the Med-Surg floor. That will be an interesting experience, because you see so many different and unique things on that floor, but I am looking forward to it.

This past Saturday, my uncle (dad's brother) flew in from Indianapolis to watch us play High Point and Radford at home. It was so nice to see him. Most of the time, we only see him at Christmas and in the summer.  He had never been to Liberty before, so he was able to see where we go to school and where we play. He didn't fly back home until Tuesday, so he was able to watch the Super Bowl with my family and everything.

We had a recruit in town that weekend, so all of the players went over to Coach Green's house to watch the Super Bowl and, of course, eat great food! The recruit we had visit has actually already signed for next year. So, that is pretty neat.

I think that is everything I can update you on for now. I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend and that you have a great week too! Talk to you soon!
