20080911_6202LS (Megan Frazee hs web).jpgThis is Megan Frazee again!  This week is our Spring Break, so it has been nice not having to worry about school and just be able to focus on basketball.  We wrapped up our regular-season conference schedule over the weekend.  Saturday, we played at Radford and won pretty convincingly.

Last night, we played at High Point.  It was a tough battle throughout the entire game, but we ended up on the short end, losing a close game.  Honestly, as much as I don't like to lose, I think the loss was a good heart check for our team.  It was our first loss all year in our conference, but I think it will help us realize as a team, that nothing is handed to us!  It is important that we learn lessons from this game, individually and collectively as a team.

I am excited for the upcoming Big South Tournament this weekend.  We have earned the No. 1 seed in the tournament, which is extremely nice.  We will be playing Charleston Southern on Friday at noon at High Point.  High Point will host the Big South Tournament for the next two years.

I encourage you to follow us as we play in the conference tournament this weekend.  Games will be played Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with the championship game at 4 p.m. on Sunday.

I want to thank all of our fans this year, as you have supported us through the ups and downs of this season!  I am excited to see what the Lord has in store this weekend for our team.

Go LADY FLAMES!!!!
