November 2008 Archives

This time of year is always exciting for basketball fans and players at the University of Alaska Anchorage.  It is a time for thanks, turkey, and good basketball.  That is because Anchorage is home to The Great Alaska Shootout, an annual college basketball tournament that takes place from November 25th through the 28th hosting eight teams from the men's side and four from the women's.  This year the women's bracket consists of UAA, Jackson State, Syracuse, and Cal State Northridge.  The seawolves return to the Sullivan Arena on November 25th at 6:00pm to tip off against Cal State Northridge and defend their back to back championship titles.
