But on the upside:
- I'm done with finals much earlier than most people so I got to head home a few days early.
- The weather is slightly warmer in Virginia than in Massachusetts.
- NCAA.com is back (although its crash cost me a blog entry...tragic).
- It's a long season and it's not nearly over.
- I'm sure it's been over analyzed and talked out but really, when will basketball shorts reach some critical mass and stop increasing in length?
Ohio State's Mark Titus has already thrown in his two cents and for the most part I agree with him.
Here's a preview:
Butler is a team that understands a fundamental truth about every Caucasian basketball player--we love short shorts. You could be saying to yourself, "But Mark, I'm white and I like baggier shorts" to which I respond with "You are not only a liar, but a disgrace to Kurt Rambis."
Titus' Blog is really great and you can see it Here. Not only did it make me realize some important truths about myself (my love of short basketball shorts), but it opened my eyes to the greatness that is Kurt Rambis. So I looked around the interwebs and found Kurt's Website, in one word Glorious.
So I'd like to take this opportunity to suggest a visit to www.kurtrambis.com, maybe check out the anti-McHale page...or this page with the Laker's wildly successful 1987 Anti-Drug Rap that we all remember and love...definitely worth a minute of your time, a true champion of the short short and someone even the greats look up to.
"If you told Kurt to run through a brick wall to win a basketball game, he
would do it." -Kobe Bryant
would do it." -Kobe Bryant
But enough about Kurt Rambis...
Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukah to everyone out there be safe this holiday season!

Richard Magee is a beuatiful, beautiful man and should always wear short shorts.
