Well, we are now about 4 weeks into the the season, and its going by fast.  The seniors on our team are staying pretty busy having to study for comprehensive finals that we have to pass before getting our degree.  Although quite busy, the team is playing well.  We are playing as a team and playing hard each game.  It's hard to believe that the season is almost half over already.  We've got a big conference weekend coming up which could have a big affect on the season.

Whew! The first few weeks of the season have been awesome, but exhausting.  Being a student-athlete at Millsaps College is a tough endeavor.  We had 6 ballgames in 6 straight days to open the season (February 6-11) with a couple of those 6 being 6 hours away.  We left Jackson, MS after a 4 hour game vs Rhodes College on Sunday afternoon, drove 6 hours to somewhere in the middle of Georgia, and woke up early the next day to play Piedmont College.  After the series against Piedmont, we hopped back on the bus, drove 6 hours home (getting in at 2am), and had to play a home game the next day against Huntingdon College on that Wednesday.  I had an exam on Thursday and Friday.  Needless to say, I didnt get much sleep.  However, our team played hard all 6 days and came away with 6 victories to open up the season.
