
BroadcastingThe NCAA broadcasting involvement includes network television broadcasts, cable television, radio, satellite radio and Internet presentations of every NCAA championship. The Association oversees only the broadcasts of the 88 different NCAA Championships. CBS owns the rights to 67 championships while ESPN has 21 championships. All regular-season college games, conference tournaments and football bowl game broadcast rights remain the pursuit of the NCAA member colleges, universities & individual conferences. The NCAA retains exclusive copyright to all video of NCAA Championships. CBS, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPNEWS deliver the excitement of every NCAA championship via television and the Internet. In addition, CBS College Sports, FSN, NCAA Productions and selected regional sports network produce telecasts of remaining championships. Twenty five of the 88 championships receive some sort of live television coverage. All remaining championships receive coverage on a tape delay or highlights show basis.
