The Cavaliers will serve as a regional host for the fifth time, and second consecutive year after posting a Division I-high 49 victories. Virginia is making its eighth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and has ACC Pitcher of the Year Danny Hultzen who leads the squad with a 10-3 record and 1.59 ERA. The junior also paces the league with 12.71 strikeouts per nine innings.
