MT. PLEASANT, Mich. - The American Baseball Coaches Association/Collegiate Baseball NCAA Division III poll was released Tuesday and Salisbury University jumped 13 spots to No. 6. The Sea Gulls (26-4, 12-3 Capital Athletic Conference) collected a total of 187 points. The last ABCA poll was released on March 24.

Eastern Connecticut State University (18-2) is No. 1 for the second poll in a row as the Warriors amassed six first-place votes and 234 points. Millsaps College (27-4) remains at No. 2 as the Majors garnered 229 points. Pomona-Pitzer College (25-3) jumped eight spots from No. 11 to No. 3 as it collected two first-place votes and 227 points. The Fighting Scots of Wooster College (24-4) remain at No. 4 with 216 points. Kean University (20-6) rounds out the top five as the Cougars are at No. 5 for the second straight poll with 196 points.

The Sea Gulls are ranked No. 2 in the D3baseball.com/NCBW media poll which was also released on Tuesday.

Salisbury will return to action on Wednesday, April 8, as they host Stevenson University (13-14, 9-4 CAC) for one game at 3:30 p.m.

The next ABCA coaches' poll will be released on April 24.
