TEMPE, Ariz. -- Kyle Robinson had a double and triple and drove in three runs for Arkansas and Ryan Stanek held Charlotte to three runs on six hits to help the Razorbacks eliminate the 49ers 11-3 on Sunday in the NCAA Tempe Regional.

Arkansas (40-21) advanced to face host Arizona State (41-16) on Sunday night, needing a win to force a second game Monday night. The winner of the regional will advance to the super regional round next week against the winner of the Austin Regional.

Charlotte (43-16) allowed 29 runs, all earned, in three games during the regional after coming into the weekend with the third-best ERA in Division I at 2.43.

Robinson had a two-run double in the Razorbacks’ four-run first and added an RBI triple in the fifth for the seventh Arkansas run. Jarrod McKinney had a run-scoring double in the first for the Razorbacks, who had lost to Charlotte 3-2 on Friday in the regional opener.

James McCann also had three RBI, and Bo Bigham had three hits for the winners.

Stanek (4-2) struck out six and walked one, giving up Justin Seager’s leadoff home run in the fifth and single runs in the sixth and ninth.

Joe Yermal (6-3) gave up six runs on six hits in four innings. Three of the hits were doubles.
