Texas A&M-Arizona postponed
Thunderstorms force final game to be played Tuesday afternoon
COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- A system of thunderstorms in the Bryan/College Station area postponed Monday night's NCAA College Station Regional Championship between Texas A&M and Arizona. The regional's winner will now be decided Tuesday at Olsen Field in a 1:35 p.m. ET contest.
Just prior to Monday's first pitch, a threatening storm prompted NCAA officials to meet with both coaches and delay the start of the contest. Shortly after, rain and lightning in the area continued the delay before the game was officially postponed around 9:30 p.m ET.
