RESERVED TICKET PURCHASING OPTIONS
There are a number of options for purchasing single-game reserved tickets for the NCAA Men’s College World Series. For more information on each of the different outlets, please refer to the options listed below.
• Advance Sale Random Drawing Process
The opportunity to purchase reserved tickets to the 2012 College World Series through the advance sale random drawing process has ended. Information regarding alternate ticket options is listed below.
If you submitted an application before the March 19 deadline, a random, computerized drawing among all eligible applications was held on March 31. All applicants were notified by the NCAA via the email address submitted on their application form, whether their application was selected or not, on April 6.
Those selected may not transfer their opportunity to purchase tickets.
If you were not selected for this process, you received an email with other options to purchase reserved-seat tickets. Information regarding handicap-accessible seating was provided to applicants selected to receive tickets. Purchasing tickets online will require payment via credit card.
• The NCAA Experience — Official Ticket and Hospitality Packages
Fans also have the option to purchase official NCAA pre-game hospitality packages available with tickets to the games or separately if fans already have tickets and are simply looking to upgrade their experience. Official NCAA pre-game hospitality can be accessed before every game and will be located near the stadium (exact location to be announced). Take refuge from the weather in the NCAA Experience air-conditioned venue and enjoy cold beverages, ball park fare throughout the day and entertainment.

• NCAA Fan-to-Fan Marketplace — Flash Seats
If you are unable to purchase reserved seats through the advance sale, Flash Seats is a great way to get tickets through an approved secondary outlet. To purchase tickets via Flash Seats, please visit cws.flashseats.com. Flash Seats is the only guaranteed, NCAA-approved secondary ticket marketplace. By using Flash Seats, you have access to tickets through season-ticket holders who are unable to attend any number of games. Prices for these tickets are set by the seller.
Flash Seats allows you to buy great seats confidently, knowing that the seats are authentic, never counterfeit. You receive your notification of ticket purchase instantly via email. Once tickets are purchased, your credit card becomes your ticket, and the original paper tickets become void. The Flash Seats process is entirely digital. Once at the stadium, you enter through the designated Flash Seats gate with the same credit card you used to purchase the tickets. No physical tickets are required to enter the stadium.
• TD Ameritrade Park Omaha Box Office
Once the College World Series begins, a limited number of reserved-seat tickets for all games, including tickets for ADA seating, are available for purchase on a daily basis at the TD Ameritrade Park box office. The box office will open at 10 a.m. Central time each day a game is scheduled. Only tickets for that day’s games will be for sale. Tickets for any “if-necessary” games will not be made available until the day those games are played. There is a limit of four tickets per person, per game, when purchasing reserved-seat tickets.
For those fans in line at the TD Ameritrade Park Omaha box office waiting to purchase tickets each day games are played, a random drawing will be conducted to form the line at 9 a.m.
• Box Office Line Queuing
If 12 or more guests are at the TD Ameritrade Park Omaha box office waiting to purchase tickets at the time of the initial box office on-sale, a random drawing will be conducted to form the line at 9 a.m. Fans needing ADA seating are included in the box office line queuing.
The random drawing process is in place to provide the fairest ticket sales process possible to all guests. By removing the incentive for guests to arrive early, the random drawing saves guest’s time and significantly decreases the chance for scalpers to be the first in line. Scalpers have historically paid people to arrive hours before a sale in order to ensure a space at the front of the line.
Thirty minutes before tickets go on sale, each person, over the age of 16, in line will be assigned a number. That number will also be put into a box. A TD Ameritrade Park team member will then randomly draw a number from the box.
The person holding that number becomes the first person in line. The remaining guests will fall in line behind according to their number. For example, if No. 5 is drawn, the person assigned No. 5 becomes the first in line, followed by the persons assigned 6, 7, 8 and so forth. This continues until the highest number originally handed out is reached. After that, the person assigned No. 1 will join the line, followed by the remaining people in the order of the numbers they are holding with the person having 4 becoming the last in line.
Anyone who arrives after the numbers are handed out would join the line behind the last person holding a number.
GENERAL ADMISSION
College World Series of Omaha, Inc., and the NCAA again will have general admission (GA) tickets for sale. The GA books, containing 10 tickets, will cost $80 per book. Fans also will be able to purchase single-game GA tickets for $11 each when purchased at the box office during the CWS. GA tickets books are available from Omaha area service clubs, at all Hy-Vee supermarket customer service counters, as well as CenturyLink Center Omaha, and other locations throughout the metro area.
GA tickets are non-guaranteed seats in the right outfield and left outfield bleachers, located in sections 125 through 136. ADA seating areas are located in the GA seating sections. The approximate capacity is 5,500 for these aluminum, bench-style seats with seat backs. Standing room also is available on a game-by-game basis. GA tickets are not designated for a specific session or date and these seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. As long as the ticket holder arrives early enough to be seated, the tickets are good for all games, including Finals games. If the GA section is filled to capacity, the gates will close.
On days with a double header, the stadium will be cleared between games. That means you are required to leave the stadium after the first game if you plan to also attend the second game. In addition to using a new GA ticket, you will need to stand in line again for re-entry into the second game.
