Keystone tops Philadelphia Biblical
Giants score 10 runs in the third inning, collect 20th win
LANGHORNE, Pa. - It seems that Friday the 13th may have been just the thing to get the Keystone offense clicking, as the Giants knocked out 21 hits, nine of which were of the extra base variety, as No. 7 Keystone rolled Philadelphia Biblical 26-4 in CSAC baseball action.
With the victory the seventh ranked Giants moved to 20-4 and 9-1, while PBU falls to 4-21 and 1-9.
Chris Muniz and Gabriel Molina each knocked out three hits, while Esteban Meletiche, Jhon Comas, Lymbel Guerrero, Frank Mormino and Brian Del Rosso each picked up two hits in the assault.
Chris Bzozowski and Andrew Siano provided the Giants with some long ball action by homering. Bzozowsi drove in four in the game, while Meletiche added three RBI. Comas, Muniz, Siano, Molina and Mormino each added a pair of RBI as 12 different Keystone players found the hit column.
Meletiche, Comas, Muniz, Guerrero, Molina, Mormino and Del Rosso also picked up doubles, as Comas, Clinton Faust, Miquel Castano and Del Rosso all scored three runs each.
Rob Rogers picked up the victory, working five innings, allowing three earned runs and striking out five.
After scoring once in the opening inning, the Giants put things out of reach early thanks to a 10 run third inning. After adding two runs in the fourth, the Giants again put together another rally, this time thanks to an eight run fifth inning.
