FLORIDA QUICK HITS ...
► Preston Tucker’s two-run double on Saturday gave him 258 career RBI, the most among all active Division I players. His double was the 70th of his career, third-most among active players. Tucker now has 41 RBI in 29 career games in the NCAA tournament and leads all active players in the NCAA with 595 total bases.

► Florida has not dropped two consecutive games since April 28-29, when it fell to Arkansas by scores of 5-1 and 3-1 (10 inn.), respectively.

► Junior Hudson Randall’s 28 career wins are currently tied for second on the school’s all-time list with Rob Bonnano (1991-94), trailing only Marc Valdes (31, 1991-93). Randall’s 51 starts are tied behind the 55 from Bryan Ball (2003-06) and Valdes and his 314.2 inning pitched put him fourth at Florida.

KENT STATE QUICK HITS ...
► Kent State turned four double plays on Saturday, one shy of the CWS record of five, set most recently in 2007. A total of 22 teams, including Kent State, have turned four DPs in a CWS game. It is also the third time since TD Ameritrade Park opened that a team has reached that total. It was also a season high for the Golden Flashes.

► Saturday's home run by Kent State’s Jimmy Rider was his sixth of the season. Rider now has 22 RBI in his last 15 contests dating back to May 15. Rider is the Division I active career leader in both at bats (1,048) and doubles (77). His at-bat total ranks seventh in DI history. Rider also is second among all active players in hits (351), trailing only Ross Heffley of Western Carolina (354).

► Kent State’s four hits was its lowest total since having two hits against Akron on May 19, and lowest total in the NCAA tournament.
