St. Thomas had a 17-day layoff due to three April snowstorms. It then went 6-0 in a four-day span last week and outscored St. John's (Minn.), Macalester and St. Olaf 80-14.

The Tommies have been in the top six all season after a third-place national finish in 2012.

Following St. Thomas in the top five is third-ranked SUNY Cortland, No. 4 Wisconsin-Whitewater and No. 5 Kean.

Bridgewater (Va.) and Illinois Wesleyan made the biggest leaps with four-spot climbs to No. 19 and 20, respectively.

Meanwhile, Wisconsin-Stevens Point was the lone team to enter the poll. The Pointers took the No. 23 slot.
