RALEIGH, N.C. -- Tarran Senay and Trea Turner homered, and NC State pulled away to beat Binghamton 4-1 on Friday night in the teams' opening game of the NCAA tournament.

Logan Ratledge drove in a late insurance run for the top-seeded Wolfpack (45-14). They will face third-seeded William & Mary in the championship bracket of the Raleigh Regional, after fourth-seeded Binghamton (30-24) plays second-seeded Mississippi in an elimination game.

Senay's two-run shot to right-center off Jack Rogalla (5-5) came in the first. Turner led off the sixth with a drive to left off Rogalla that put NC State up 3-1.

Ratledge made it a three-run game an inning later, chasing Rogalla with an RBI single.

Zach Blanden had three hits for the Bearcats. Their only run came when John Howell's double-play groundout in the second scored Shaun McGraw, making it 2-1.

Josh Easley (6-2) struck out four in 4.1 scoreless innings of relief for the Wolfpack.
