Bottom 5

Despite allowing a run in the fourth inning, Oregon State starting pitcher Andrew Moore seemed to be cruising along in the fifth after getting the first two outs of the inning. But that all changed with the top of the Mississippi State order. Adam Frazier and Alex Detz each singled and then the biggest at-bat of the game -- Hunter Renfroe blasted a three-run home run into the leftfield bullpen to give the Bulldogs a lead they would never relinquish. Mississippi State followed with two more hits off Moore that ended his day to bring the total to five two-out hits in a row.
