LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) -Nebraska coach Doc Sadler has suspended backup point guard Kamyron Brown indefinitely.

Sadler did not give a reason for the suspension in a statement released Wednesday through the athletic department.

Brown traveled with the Cornhuskers to San Juan, Puerto Rico, where the team is playing in a tournament that starts Thursday with a game against Vanderbilt.

Brown played four minutes in last week’s opener against South Dakota. The junior went through warmups before Monday’s game against Arkansas-Pine Bluff but did not play.

Brown, from Anaheim, Calif., played two seasons at Oregon before transferring to Nebraska in April. He sat out the 2009-10 season while attending a junior college in California.
