Norse hit 63.6 percent from the floor in 37-point victory

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. -- Bobby Shannon scored 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead Northern Kentucky to a 96-59 win over Glenville State on Wednesday afternoon.
Shannon, a 6-5 junior forward, finished the game hitting 8-of-10 shots from the field and added three steals while helping NKU improve to 8-2. The Norse shot 63.6 percent from the field and finished with a 36-22 rebounding advantage.
Josh Tabb added 15 points for NKU, which connected on 12 3-pointers while hitting better than 50 percent from long range. Dennis Gagai made four 3-pointers and finished with 14 points for the Norse, who held Glenville State (2-7) to 39.6 percent shooting.
Malcolm Eleby added 12 points and seven assists for NKU, while Erik Stenger scored 10 points and blocked three shots.
Justin Caldwell scored 20 points to lead Glennville State. Nick Dent (12 points) and Jonathan Bevins (10) each scored in double figures for GSC
