ABERDEEN, N.D. (AP) - Northern State University coach Don Meyer could set the record for men's college basketball wins when his Wolves play the University of Mary in Aberdeen on Saturday night.

Meyer earned his 902nd career win last week in Fayette, Iowa, with a victory over Upper Iowa. It tied him with one of the most famous coaches in basketball, former coach Bob Knight.

John Feinstein, a writer and sports correspondent with National Public Radio, spent a season with Knight while Knight coached at Indiana University. He says Meyer and Knight both expect top efforts from their players while knowing how to get the best out of them.

The University of Mary, of Bismarck, N.D., has won three of 12 games so far this season.
