Dartmouth Coach Terry Dunn Resigns

HANOVER, N.H. - Terry Dunn, the head coach for men's basketball at Dartmouth College, has resigned from his post effective immediately. He announced his decision to the team this afternoon and submitted his resignation to Acting Athletics Director Bob Ceplikas.
"Terry has been a loyal and dedicated member of our staff," Ceplikas stated after the announcement. "We thank him for his service and leadership to our basketball program and wish him the best in his future pursuits."
Dunn was in his sixth year at the helm of the Big Green men's basketball program, compiling a 47-103 record during his tenure. Twice he led Dartmouth to 7-7 records in the Ivy League, finishing as high as third in the conference standings.
This season Dartmouth stands at 3-10 following a 49-43 victory over Bucknell on Monday evening.
The Big Green open their Ivy League schedule tomorrow afternoon at Harvard at
2 p.m. The three assistant coaches, Mark Graupe, Michael Brown and Tim Lane, will coach the team for the game. An interim head coach is expected to be announced next week.
