Deadline nears for Final Four tickets
Application site closes May 31, or when 20,000 limit reached
INDIANAPOLIS -- Fans wishing to attend the 2012 Men’s Final Four in New Orleans are advised that ticket applications for the NCAA’s random selection process are still being accepted at www.ncaa.com but the deadline is fast approaching. The NCAA accepts no more than 20,000 applications and that limit has nearly been reached. As long as the limit has not been reached, fans can apply for tickets through May 31.
The application link is available annually beginning the day after Selection Sunday and ending May 31, or until the 20,000 applications have been received. After the May 31 deadline, fans hoping for a chance to receive tickets to the Final Four have to purchase them through The NCAA Experience program, which is offered via PrimeSport, the official ticket and hospitality package provider for the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship. Information about The NCAA Experience can be found at www.ncaa.com/hospitality.
The general public allocation is the largest for any national championship. The 2012 Final Four will be held March 31 and April 2 at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans, with Tulane University serving as the host institution.
The NCAA will determine ticket recipients from the general public allocation in July and notify those selected by the end of August. Individuals not selected to receive tickets will receive a refund of the full application deposit amount in August.
Final Four tickets may not be offered as a prize in a promotion, sweepstakes or contest, or auctioned for fundraising purposes unless authorized in advance by the NCAA.
