ATLANTA — Georgia Tech will serve as the host institution and the Georgia Dome will be the venue for the Final Four, which will feature two national semifinal games on April 6, 2013, and the national championship game on April 8.
Atlanta previously played host to the Final Four in 1977, when Marquette won the national championship at The Omni, and at the Georgia Dome in 2002 and ’07, when Maryland and Florida won national titles.
Fans hoping for a chance to receive tickets to the 2013 Final Four can apply for the NCAA’s random selection process, which takes place between March 12 and May 31, 2012.
The Georgia Dome also is the site for the 2012 South Regional, which takes place March 23 and 25 and marks the 20th time that Atlanta has played host to the Division I Men’s Basketball Championship.
Tickets to the South Regional are available by visiting www.ncaa.com/mbbtickets. Ticket prices range from $160-$175.
