Sullinger to miss UTPA game
Buckeyes’ forward will miss Saturday’s game with back spasms
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State will be without forward Jared Sullinger when the No. 2 Buckeyes face Texas-Pan American on Saturday in Columbus.
Ohio State says the sophomore will not play after suffering back spasms during an 85-63 victory against third-ranked Duke in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge on Tuesday. Sullinger scored 21 points against the Blue Devils.
The team says he will sit out Saturday and will be reevaluated next week.
After Saturday’s game the Buckeyes don’t play again until Dec. 10 at No. 15 Kansas.
