Franklin & Marshall tops Oneonta St.
Diplomats extend winning streak to 12 games
LANCASTER, Pa. – No. 8 Franklin & Marshall defeated Oneonta State 65-46 in non-conference men's basketball action Thursday evening at the Mayser Center. The Diplomats remain unbeaten on the year and improve to 12-0. The Red Dragons fell to 1-10 on the season.

F&M never trailed and led by as much as 26 points while holding Oneonta to six points below its nation-leading 52 points allowed per game.
The Diplomats jumped out to an early 16-2 lead eight minutes into the game and never looked back. Oneonta came within 15 points, 20-5, at 8:18 before F&M went on a 12-6 run to go up 32-11 with 3:36 remaining in the half. The Red Dragon countered with eight unanswered points for a 32-19 halftime score.
F&M opened the second with a 19-8 run to take a 24-point, 51-27, edge at 9:33. The Diplomats never trailed by more than 19 points the remainder of the game and led by as much as 26 points in the final half.
Georgio Milligan had a game-high 11 points on 5-for-7 shooting and added four steals with two steals and four blocks. Milligan has 1,575 career points as he continues his assault on James McNally's school record of 1,796.
Brandon Beckford chipped in 10 points, hitting all six of his shots from the stripe. Jon Salandra and Ed Early both finished with eight while Matt Porter and Max Brewer tallied six points apiece.
Nick Sarchioto netted a team-high 10 points for the Red Dragons and Lukas Slivinshy finished with nine.
