Selection U is all-things March Madness -- from how the selection process works, to interviews with those who make the decisions, to the history of the tournament. For the first time 10 über fans have the opportunity to get behind the scenes to learn how the field of 68 is determined.

Fans were asked to submit a 30-second video expressing their passion for the game that also explained why they would be the best members of the inaugural Super 10 Fan Selection Committee. All the submissions were viewed, the most compelling entries were chosen -- and now you can choose the finalists.

The Super 10 will be a select group that will go through the rigorous process that whittles down the teams to determine their version of the 68-team tournament bracket and you get to pick the Super 10 on the March Madness Facebook page.

“This contest is a unique opportunity for basketball fans to not only learn how the selection process works, but to participate and actually put together a tournament bracket in real time,” said Ronnie Ramos, the NCAA’s managing director for digital communication.  “This is the largest social media contest we’ve ever done.”

Just like the real selection committee that establishes the official bracket for March Madness, the Super 10 will use the Nitty Gritty Reports and other NCAA information to discuss, break down and choose teams for the first-ever fan committee bracket.

The winning fans will be flown to Atlanta, site of the Turner Sports studios and spend three days choosing the teams for the fans’ version of the NCAA tournament field. The committee will provide live updates and also attend one of the premier basketball conference championships, the ACC Tournament at Philips Arena.
