Ask someone to name the top point guard in the Big East and they may leave out Providence’s Vincent Council. But look at these numbers: Council is the Big East’s top career returning scorer, leader in assists per game, as well as steals. He finished fourth in the nation in assists per game a season ago, and will likely have more scorers to dish to in 2012-13.
