Holton Hunsaker finished his freshman season 49th in the nation in free-throw percentage. The head coach’s son got even better in his sophomore year. Hunsaker shot 87.2 percent from the line, good for 23rd in the country. At one point he made 41 in a row — missing only 33 of 240 attempts from the charity stripe in his two seasons.

Texas-Pan American only return one starter from last season’s team that finished 11-21, but that’s Brandon Provost who led the team in scoring at 13.4 points per game. Provost scored in double digits 25 times in the team’s 32 games.

Jeremy Robinson looks to build upon his junior season in 2012-13, after being named the Great West Conference newcomer of the year. Robinson is the top returning scorer in the conference when last season he led Chicago State in scoring and was second in rebounding.
