Isaiah Canaan ended the season the 24th leading scorer in the nation (19.0 points per game), sixth in made threes per game (2.97), 13th in 3-point percentage (.456), 36th in free-throw percentage (.858), and 47th in steals per game (1.91). Canaan was the first Racer to lead the team in scoring and assists since 2001.

Robert Covington reached double figures in 32 consecutive games dating back to Nov. 14, 2011. He had nine double-doubles a year ago, totaling 19 for his career. Covington accumulated 1,358 points (14.3 ppg) for 16th all-time in TSU history while grabbing 693 rebounds (7.3 rpg) for 13th all-time in school history.

Shane Gibson had a had a break-out junior season where he led the Northeast Conference and was fourth in the nation in scoring. He finished the season with 705 points scored, setting a new SHU Division I record for points in a season and tied for the seventh highest total in school history.
