LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) -Kelsey Griffin scored 26 points, including six in a row after Texas pulled close late in the game, and No. 11 Nebraska remained unbeaten with a 91-79 victory over the No. 19 Longhorns on Tuesday night.

Yvonne Turner matched her career best with five 3-pointers and scored a season-high 21 points, Dominique Kelley added 18 points and Cory Montgomery 16 for the Cornhuskers (15-0, 2-0 Big 12).

Turner hit three 3s and scored 11 points during a 21-5 run over the first and second halves that gave Nebraska its biggest lead at 63-46.

Texas (11-5, 0-2) pulled to 77-72 on Brittainey Raven's 3-pointer with 6:47 left. The Longhorns had three chances to make it a one-possession game, but Cokie Reed missed two free throws, Raven was called for a charge and Lauren Flores committed a turnover.

Griffin scored the next six points to give the Huskers a nine-point cushion with under 3 minutes to play.

Raven made four 3-pointers and had 22 points, Kathleen Nash added 17 and Reed 12 for the Longhorns.

The Huskers go into Sunday's showdown at No. 9 Baylor on an unprecedented run of success. They're off to their best start and on their longest win streak in program history, and their No. 11 rating is their highest ever.

Texas and Nebraska traded the lead nine times in the first half before the Huskers started their decisive run a couple minutes before halftime.

The Longhorns went scoreless on seven of their first eight possessions of the second half before Reed started sinking short jumpers to ignite the Longhorns. Reed score 10 of her 12 points in the second half.

Texas came into the game off a 91-70 loss at home to Texas A&M and now have lost its first two conference games for the second time in three years.
