Desales Ices Ithaca, 62-53

Ithaca, NY – Junior Lori Lidlow scored a team-high 20 points to lead four players in double figures as the DeSales University women’s basketball team won its 13th straight game defeating Ithaca College, 62-53, in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at Ben Light Gymnasium on Friday evening.

The Bulldogs now advance to the second round of the tournament where they will face Williams College for the right to play in the “Sweet 16″ tomorrow at 7:00 pm in Ben Light Gymnasium.

Senior Kelly Magrann added 11 points, sophomore Cherelle Simmons had 10 points, and freshman Jessica Hoover (Emmaus HS) also had 10 points for the Bulldogs.
