TEMPE, Ariz. — The Arizona State-Marist women’s basketball game scheduled for Tuesday in Tempe, Ariz., has been canceled. Earlier Monday the game was moved to Wednesday after it was determined that Marist would be unable to travel because of winter storms in the east. However, it was later concluded that the possibility of Marist being able to arrive in time for a game on Dec. 29 was in doubt.
Wednesday was the latest possible date ASU could play because it opens Pacific-10 Conference play when it plays hosts Oregon State at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
Fans who purchased tickets for the ASU-Marist game can use them at either of this weekend’s games: against Oregon State at 6:30 p.m. MT Friday or against Oregon at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Marist will open Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play against Rider at 2 p.m. ET Sunday.
