POMONA, Calif. -- Not much could go wrong for Cal Poly Pomona Friday.

The Broncos shot a season-high 56 percent from the field and four CPP players tallied double figures. As the host of the NCAA Division II West Region Tournament, the Broncos are moving on to the second round after their 71-43 win against Cal State San Bernardino.

The result sets up a 7 p.m. Saturday matchup with Alaska Anchorage. The Seawolves defeated Western Washington Friday, 55-48.
