Taylor Lewis scored 21 points and Jasmine Webb had a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead No. 1 seed and host Northeastern State to a lop-sided 88-68 win against No. 8 seed Texas-Permian Basin.

The scrappy Falcons (21-8) forced 28 RiverHawk turnovers but were limited to a dismal 38.8 percent shooting effort. NSU, which has held opponents to an average of 54.5 points per outing this season, turned in another defensive gem with nine steals and 19 more rebounds than UTPB.

NSU, ranked No. 11 nationally, cruised to a 55-24 lead at intermission by shooting 56.3 percent from the field as Lewis and Webb scored 12 and 11 points, respectively. Northeastern State (25-4) finished the game 29-of-52 overall (55.8 percent) and was 24-of-30 from the charity stripe. The RiverHawks will meet Lone Star Conference rival Central Oklahoma in Saturday's 7:30 p.m. semifinal game.

Miesha Blackshear paced the Falcons with 13 points. Tammy Acosta, Missy Jackson and Lauren Unger had 11 points each.

Sarah Green also had 12 points for the RiverHawks and Jasmine Wright scored 10. Green collected eight rebounds for the game and had five assists in the first half.
