Having now passed the midpoint of the BIG EAST Conference schedule, No. 19 Notre Dame turns to the back eight of its league docket beginning Tuesday night with a 7 p.m. (ET) game at 22nd-ranked Pittsburgh. The Irish and Panthers will be facing off for the first time since Pitt eliminated Notre Dame from last year's BIG EAST Championship.

The Irish (16-4, 5-3) put together arguably their strongest defensive effort of the BIG EAST season this past Saturday, shutting down Cincinnati en route to a 66-50 win over the Bearcats at the Joyce Center. Notre Dame forced 26 UC turnovers, coming up with a season-high 21 steals, and had a 48-34 margin on the glass.

Senior guard Lindsay Schrader posted her third double-double of the season with 19 points and a career-high 15 rebounds. Sophomore forward Becca Bruszewski added 15 points and a career-best seven rebounds for the Irish.
