Louisville, Ky. (AP) - Candyce Bingham scored a career-high 26 points to lead No. 8 Louisville to a 75-51 win over No. 15 Pittsburgh on the Saturday.

Angel McCoughtry also scored 26 and grabbed seven rebounds for the Cardinals (26-3, 13-2 Big East Conference).

The victory helped Louisville clinch the No. 2 seed in the Big East tournament next week. The Panthers (21-6, 11-4) also will have a bye to the quarterfinals as they will finish in the top four seeds.

Shavonte Zellous scored 15 and had six rebounds for the Panthers.

The Cardinals never trailed and put the game away with a 15-point run in the second half, after the Panthers got within three.
