KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Shekinna Stricklen scored 18 points, and No. 18 Tennessee beat 19th-ranked Vanderbilt 75-66 for its 34th consecutive 20-win season.

The Lady Volunteers (20-9, 9-5 Southeastern Conference) also remained perfect against the Commodores (21-8, 10-4) in Knoxville and avoided a season sweep. Vanderbilt beat Tennessee for only the seventh time in history with a 74-58 victory in Nashville on Jan. 11.

Even with the win, Tennessee finished the season with its worst-ever SEC record and will play Thursday in the opening round of the conference tournament for only the second time.

Vanderbilt fell one conference win shy of tying its record for SEC wins and finished second behind Auburn, receiving a first-round bye.

Alex Fuller, the lone player honored on senior night, had a double-double for Tennessee with 17 points and 14 rebounds.

Christina Wirth led Vanderbilt with 20 points.
