Minnesota State Moorhead brushed aside a modest second half revival by Nebraska-Kearney and stormed into the semi-finals of the NCAA Division II Women's Central Region Basketball Tournament with a 67-54 victory over UNK on Friday night at the Taylor Center in Mankato.

Alison Nash-Gerlach fueled the MSUM attack with 20 points, Katie Walden added 14 points and Meghan Rettke collected a game high 12 rebounds. Jade Means led Nebraska-Kearney with 20 points. It marked the Dragons' first regional victory in three trips and hiked their overall record to 22-7 while the 'Lopers closed at 20-10. 

It also set up a 8 p.m. Saturday night showdown with Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference regular season champ and tourney host Minnesota State Mankato, 27-2.
