DURANGO, Colo. -- Jodi Reinschmidt scored 23 points as No. 4 seed Northern State (S.D.) defeated No. 5 seed Concordia-St. Paul (Minn.) 74-70 in the fourth quarterfinal game of the NCAA Division II Central Regional playoffs in Whalen Gymnasium at Fort Lewis College.

Reinschmidt added nine rebounds and four assists in the battle between Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference foes.

She was joined in double figures by Emily Becken (19 points) and Krista Rabenberg (16 points, 9 rebounds) for Northern State.

Concordia-St. Paul was led by Jineen Williams, who scored 23 points on 11-of-18 shooting from the field. Maurika Hickman added 14 points, while Jodi Batzel scored 13 for the Golden Bears.

Northern State led 35-31 at intermission.

Three-point shooting factored heavily into the outcome. The Wolves shot an efficient 66.7 percent from behind the arc (4 of 6), while the Golden Bears struggled to make just 22.7 percent of their 3-pointers (5 of 22). Northern State owned a 39-34 rebounding advantage.
