WILMINGTON, Ohio — No. 14 Mount Union handed Wilmington its first home loss of the season 76-55 in an Ohio Athletic Conference women’s matchup Saturday in Wilmington.

Mount Union (8-1, 3-1 OAC) got a game-high 17 points and six rebounds from senior forward Amanda Rose, junior point guard Rosa LaMattina had 15 points and six steals while senior guard Kori Wiedt finished with 13 points.
Brianna Peters had 16 points and Shelby Kies had 10 points to lead Wilmington (6-2, 3-2 OAC).
The Quakers held a 6-4 lead before a 12-2 run capped by a LaMattina 3-pointer gave the Raiders an 16-8 with 11:43 left in the half. Wilmington would answer with a 9-2 run of its own to get back to within a point, 18-17, before the Raiders doubled up the Quakers the rest of the half outscoring them 23-11 to lead 41-28 at the break.
Mount Union never looked back extending the margin to as many as 26 points before finishing with the 76-55 win.
