JONESBORO, Ark. -- Central Missouri State University's Jennies bowling team got off to a good start in 2005-06, winning the Arkansas State Lady Indian Invitational, held Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 29-30, in Jonesboro, Ark.

The Jennies went 10-0 over the weekend. In team match play, CMSU went 7-0, out-playing Vanderbilt, Arkansas State, Southern University, Bethune-Cookman, Minnesota State, North Carolina A&T, and Louisiana Tech with a total team score of 7024 (1003.4 team average).

Central Missouri State came back in Baker match play to go 3-0 with averages of 211.67, 197.50, and 175.75.

Individually for the Jennies, junior Tina Peak was second overall with an average of 213.71. Sophomore Bryanna Caldwell was fifth with a 209.00 average, and senior Sara Cox had a 201.14 average to finish eighth.

The Jennies junior varsity team also took the title, going 9-1 over the weekend. Danielle LeFever, Rachel Rothermel, and Alyssa Surges went 1-2-3 for the Jennies.
