VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.-For the third week in a row the University of Maryland
Eastern Shore's (UMES) Kristina Frahm (Oswego, Ill.) has been named the Mid-Eastern
Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowling Athlete of the Week for the week ending
November 23, 2008.  This is the fourth straight honor for a Lady Hawk bowler.

Frahm led the nation's no. 1 ranked team to a 15-3 mark at the Eastern Shore Hawk
Classic match-up in Millsboro, Del. this past weekend.  The defending National Rookie
of the Year knocked down 1,192 total pins and averaged a solid 198.66.  In six team
games she bowled three over 200 with a high-game of a 244 against no. 19 St. Francis
(N.Y.).

Since the conference has been awarding the Bowling Athlete of the Week, Frahm has
won it six times and is the first to ever do it three times in a row.

Frahm leads the defending National Champions another MEAC Northern Division
match-up the weekend of December 6 & 7 in Baltimore, Md.  UMES trails rival no. 9
Delaware State by one match in the Northern Division standings and looks to move back
into first place with a solid outing.
