NAPERVILLE, Ill -- North Central remains the  No. 1 NCAA Division III squad in the nation this week, earning all eight first-place votes in the Division III National Coaches' Top 35 Poll.

Just as they were in the preseason poll last month, the defending national-champion Cardinals are a unanimous No. 1 selection, receiving the maximum 280 points and all eight first-place votes. 2011 national runner-up Haverford is second with 271 points, followed by Washington-St. Louis (246 points), SUNY Geneseo (257) and Bates (Maine) with 237 points.

North Central is one of three College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) teams in this week's rankings, joined by seventh-ranked Wheaton and 19th-ranked Augustana.
