Head coach Gary Towne returns three All-West Region runners, seniors Amy Schnittger, Paige Henker and Jonah Weeks, as well as CCAA Freshman of the Year Tiffany Heflin.

Chico State is the only CCAA team and one of only three West Region squads (Great Northwest Athletic Conference schools Alaska Anchorage and Simon Fraser sit at No. 6 and 9, respectively) to earn a national top 10 ranking.
